NEW WORLD MMO Game Modes CONTENT Explained

New World is about to launch and here is all of the various Game Modes or Types of Content that will be available for launch of this new MMORPG from Amazon Games.
Amazon is set to release New World in the next couple of days, and with it have been so long since we've had a proper AAA MMORPG launch, there is a TON of excitement leading up to September 28th 2021. Which by the way it launches at 8am Pacific Time US and just do the math from there. Today though, I want to talk about the various Game Modes that we know are available in New World and talk about each one and what it entails, so sit back, get you a sip of your favorite beverage and let's talk about this upcoming MMO : New World by Amazon Games.
First up is Expeditions : These are what you would think of as Dungeons in most MMOs but in New World, these are not simply running a dungeon and beating the boss or bosses, but also has some puzzle solving as you are working your way through. These challenges are designed for 5 players and should be a fun challenge especially for those that haven't spoiled it and get to learn them on the fly. Also in these expeditions it looks like much of the story and lore secrets will unfold such as the source of Corruption, the Angry Earth's ulterior motives, and the deeper menace behind the Lost and delving into the secrets of the ancient Guardians. To quote the official website. Amazon is promising Challenging battles that require team coordination. They have 3 main pillars they are trying to accomplish. Let's take a look:

The Amrine Excavation: A dig site to the west of Amrine Temple, where famed archeologist SImon Grey has been missing for some time.
Garden of Genesis: Suvivalist Ellwood discovered a garden where the Angry Earth are born from.
These two were available in the Alpha and players overall seemed to enjoy,
Next up we have the Outpost Rush
This is an endgame mode that mixes in PvP with PvE, it's where 2 teams, each with 20 players compete to control three outposts on a map. The teams will face off to capture the outposts battling with one another and with gatherers able to gather resources to build and fortify outposts to defend against the opposing side. Overall this looks to be a fun take on PvP that mixes in some delights from other genres and could be a ton of fun providing great content for those that hunger some PvP in their MMORPG, and I'm looking forward to what kind of fun can be had with this game mode.
And then we have Invasions
Invasion is a game mode in which is the largest PvE experience in the MMO New World. This is a wave-based survival where 50 players defend their fort as corrupted enemies siege and try to destroy your fort. Players will use a wide array of weapons and offense as well as defense to survive and fight off the waves with a final boss in the form of a Void Destroyer. Your team must survive for 30 minutes in order to win. If you lose, your territory will be downgraded. This mode is a key part of New World's Territorial Control.
1. Joining
The Defense Army is 50 players as mentioned before. You can sign up for it 1 day before it happens. This will be done at the Settlement's Town Board. The Governor of this territory can also hand select 10 players, and the remaining 40 come randomly from those that signed up.
2. Preparation
Once at the battlefield you will be given 50 Battle Tokens. You can purchase various things to help such as: potions, traps, ammunition for turrets etc.
3. Defense
Repel all 8 waves and survive the final assualt or survive with the gates to the fort up by the time the timer ends at 30 minutes to win. Some of the known enemies are teh Grunts, Raiders, Bommer, Brutes and Bosses.
4. Siege Weapons and Structures
Players will also have Siege Weapons that will helpeffort to protect the gates.
This is an interesting PvE game mode that Amazon is hoping will keep players entertained while new content is being developed.
5. Also there is WAR
If Invasions are the endgame PvE then WAR is the endgame PvP game mode of New World. It is a largesacle PvP experience that pits 50 players vs 50 players.
