NEW WORLD RECORD! Beat Donkey Kong Jr Math with ZERO Score! Holy Crap!
A sad excuse of a performance for a sad excuse of a video game.
Not to say it's a sad excuse in the general sense, but in the sense that when a video game allows a player to do something in game as a way to win, then it's part of the game and counts. Doesn't matter if it's a shortcut in a racing game, an alternative path in-game, or what, if the game allows it, then it's a legal move even if it's a "cheat". This is what makes the game sad...I just beat this whole game at ZERO score...and it was a legal move doing so because it was allowed by the game.
I did take college level algebra at Iowa Lakes Community College, and several math courses at Joliet Junior College, and one math course at Spoon River College, and yet more advanced math's to come. I did actually beat this game the right way a couple years ago, and would have loved to do so while cam was going, but what's the point? I won didn't I? After all, we do cheat in high school and college math courses all the time, why not here? If it's not prevented, then it's allowed, and if it's allowed, it's a legal move and counts.
I am so frustrated that this game ALLOWED the game to be completed and won in this manner, and just for that, I did it this way, because if the game devs don't care about the game enough, why should the players?
