New World's REAL Best DPS Weapon Isn't What You Think! (with Skill Trees)
1,225New World has a variety of high damage weapons like the Hatchet or Spear. However, when specifically focusing on DPS with light or heavy attacks, none of the usual damage weapons like Void Gauntlet/Blade, Greataxe, War Hammer, Hatchet or Spear stands out. Instead, the highest light attack DPS weapon in the game is currently a very unexpected contender: Sword and Shield! SnS damage builds aren't unheard of in PvP, but are usually primarily used for setup and quick burst. However, Sword and Shield actually has the best light attack chain in the game combined with various additional damage-increasing perks from its skill tree and shield perks.
