I suppose now that it's some time later, I should give my synopsis on this game, as well as this let's play series on Newer Super Mario Bros Wii. Oh man, where to start.
Newer Super Mario Bros Wii, as a game, and a Mario hack is a fantastic game. Truly, and honestly. The creators took their time with this video game, and it really shows.
The Newer Team really steps outside of the normal bounds and habits of the current New Super Mario Bros series as they are. Generally it all seems like a lot of the same with the normal New Super Mario Bros Series games. You got the same world layouts generally, and don't get me wrong, it's fun, but it's nice when a hack comes along and changes all of that, and changes it well to boot.
You have some really unique worlds to explore in Newer Super Mario Bros Wii, and they really show their polish and attention to detail flow within the levels. Especially with music. There is a wide array of music in this hack, and they are some quality choices from many different games. Kudos for that.
I look forward to returning to Newer Super Mario Bros Wii with some friends, considering that the normal games shine in that multiplayer factor, I can't even imagine how this game is with friends. Actually I can, because I touched base with it.
Additionally, beautiful looking graphics, and atmosphere, especially in space and Sakura Village.
That Said.
As a Let's Play. I disliked this project. That's no secret and it certainly shows at times. Why, and why do I have to say all of this? It's to separate the game from my let's play project and how good each is individually. I don't want some of my comments to reflect on what I think of the game. That's all I'm saying.
