The NPD for November is interesting to many people because it covers Black Friday and a time where both the PS4 and Xbox One were under 200 dollars. It was pretty clear at the time that PS4 systems were flying off of the shelves at that price range. Part of the report shows that Mario Odyssey came in second place behind Call of Duty, but ahead of Star Wars Battlefront 2. Mario Odyssey should not have finished ahead of a game that has an audience the size of Star Wars along with the size of the PS4 and Xbox user base.
