This morning Intel announced that they will be partnering with AMD to develop a system on a chip for the ultra book line of laptops. Intel is focused on the graphics side of the chip attempting to make a thin ultra book have the gaming ability of larger laptops that are much less portable. There is also a focus on power consumption. With these two giants in the silicon world developing a chip, we have to wonder what else could they partner on going forward?
