Nvidia are confident in their predictions when they say that the next generation of mobile processors will be able to out-pace the now old current generation Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
The Tegra 4 is just a little more than half as powerful in terms of computing performance (flops). 80 compared to the 240 or so of the Xbox 360 / PS3. The next generation Tegra will likely be able to match this performance quite handily, meaning we'll be seeing devices that in theory could provide the graphical grunt of the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
Sure, there'll be power requirements to think of - but even so, it's an intriguing prospect isn't it?
