NEXT TIME: Dark Side of the Tri-Force
Darth Vader
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away… this specific Star Wars story like most nowadays starts on a Desert planet. There we are introduced to a young slave boy named Anakin who works alongside his mother under the sleazy slave owner: Watto. While toiling along, Anakin had time and resources to build and become a decently skilled podracer, this would come in handy when on one fateful day two Jedi arrived needing a specific part for their ship. The two being Jedi Master Qui Gon Jinn and his apprentice Obi Wan Kenobi, ended up making a deal with Watto that would ultimately end up in a first place victory for Anakin and his freedom. Unfortunately his mother would be left behind. Qui Gon went through all this trouble because he believed Anakin was the fabled Chosen One said to bring balance to the Force. He would’ve trained Anakin personally if not for a black and red Sith striking Jinn down. Without his mother and being stuck with the inexperienced Obi Wan as a master, Anakin was unfortunately not on a great path. He would find bright spots in his life, falling in love with Padme who he would eventually marry, but the darkness would always find a way to rear its ugly head. Anakin would never be granted the role of Master no matter his efforts, he was even given an apprentice and seat at the Council but still denied the title. He would lose a hand, and in a fit of rage… he would lose the woman he loves most. After seeing his mother sold to and killed by Tusken Raiders, Anakin realized how terrified he was of losing those close to him. Qui Gon and his mother both perished and he was unable to stop any of it, but he wouldn’t fail Padme. Even if he had to rely on a darker force. This darker force led Anakin to his breaking point. With the guide of former Chancellor Palpatine now revealed to be Darth Sidious, Anakin would lay waste to every man, woman, and Jedi he came across as he wore his new name. For hence forth he was known as Darth Vader. Vader would follow the orders of his new master, he gave in to the dark side and in his anger he killed Padme… the one he was trying to protect. And unfortunately for Vader his chosen one status couldn’t save him from Obi Wan’s experience, better teaching, and high ground status. Anakin died that day: alone, in pain, suffering. He was lost, he had lost everyone who meant anything to him. He was left to die, but as fate would have it Sidious arrived and gave Vader a second chance alongside a second body. Anakin was truly reborn with a new face and voice as Darth Vader, Sith Master, Scourge of the Jedi, and One of the most powerful force users in the galaxy!
Ganondorf
The land of Hyrule. One ancient and historic, with many colorful characters to enjoy. But within all that color and flourish lies a darker form, just outside the lights reach. This form is quite ancient itself and carries many monikers, but is known by many as: Ganon. Or Ganondorf if you are referring to his more humanoid form. Ganondorf is a being of pure malice and evil! Most likely born from the demon king Demise himself, Ganondorf was basically destined to be evil incarnate. Born as the only male Gerudo, Ganondorf has many options for many things, but in just about every timeline he wants one thing most of all: Power! He embodies the concept of Power so much he represents that third of the Triforce whilst Zelda carries Wisdom and Link carries Courage. Of course a third of such a mythical item gives the owner great power, but Ganondorf like most villains won’t settle for great power they want all the power. Which is why his most well known escapades involve him acquiring the other two Triforce pieces for himself and ruling all of Hyrule with an iron fist. Usually this ends up with him pulling a Bowser and kidnapping the resident Princess! The previously mentioned Zelda, ruler of Hyrule. But within every timeline while there is a Ganondorf and a Zelda theres also always a Hero who goes through trials and tribulations to save the Princess and free the lands from the Evil Lords corrupt rule! This Hero is a Link between the other two halves, for he carries great courage and its up to him to save the world! And on many occasions he does exactly that, whether in his humanoid or beast form, Ganon has been defeated by the Hero many times over. Now just because its a prophecy doesn’t mean it always comes true! Ganondorf has actually won before! In certain Zelda timelines it is revealed those games occur after Ganondorf has killed the Hero of Time and plunged the world into utter chaos. so don't let his lesser showings fool you into thinking this demon pig man can be taken down that easily. For Ganondorf above all else, is power given form…
