You know, most people really hate these highway challenges, but I quite like them. Much like Time Hunter, this is actually somewhat difficult as it's rather hard to improve upon going in a mostly straight line while still having to weave in and out of traffic. I would definitely advise taking the first two shortcuts and possibly skipping out on the third, and definitely the fourth. Taking the third may or may not be beneficial when factoring in the boost bonus, but the first two are definitely for the better. In the video, I opt to pass on the third. At the very end, I would recommend starting at the shoulder and making your way into the standard lanes only when you're certain you can make it, as it's typically packed with cars.

Do note that while being on the shoulder seems to have no drawbacks, it reduces your acceleration, so you'll want to spend as little time on it as possible. It's no big deal if you just touch it for a few tenths of a second, but if you're on it for 5 seconds straight you're going to see a noticeable difference in your time. Don't rely on it as your "get out of dodging traffic free" card.
