Ah, police challenges. This one is very short and actually pretty enjoyable, yet slightly difficult at times as the AI will block you pretty effectively. They're just doing their jobs, I suppose.

At 0:16, go slightly wide in preparation to turn in at the best speed you can. Let go of the acceleration and brake just a tiny bit, then go full throttle on the acceleration as soon as you can clear the wall. Tap the handbrake very lightly if you're having trouble making it through. At 0:22, you'll see I crash VERY hard into a telephone pole. This is, interestingly enough, the fastest way this turn can possibly be taken. You're going to want to go at it at full speed, hit the handbrake, and hit it sideways, preferably with the back half of your car if you can, then quickly boost out of any slowdown. The following police car at 0:32 is always dodged by going to the right, and the one after it typically by going to the left. Be prepared for these, as if you aren't, they may add some time in having to maneuver on reaction as the timing window can be tiny if you get unlucky. At 0:48, the game really starts to screw with you and a lot of the time you'll face an unavoidable collision. There are two ways to lower the chance of this: save some boost and try to beat them to an ugly situation, or hit the side of the right police car at high velocity, let the game reset you, and continue through invincible at high speed. It's kinda cheesy, but so are shitty mechanics that make it the best option.

If you follow these instructions, this platinum should be far easier. After a few runs, getting under 1 minute or perhaps even 55 seconds may be within reach. Good luck!
