-Double Elimination Tournament #9-

To be held on September 26th (Saturday) 2020 at 2 PM CDT/7 PM GMT/September 27th 1 AM OMST. I know I’m announcing it just hours before it starts, that’s why I didn’t tag everyone. I pretty much gathered people for it just in DMs in the past few days. Next time I’ll make sure to announce it almost a week before it starts. pLan will be used (please check #guide_plus_files). I can also help you configure pLan via TeamViewer (remote access software).

You can register in #sign-up_page channel until September 26th, 1 PM CDT/6 PM GMT/September 27th 12 AM OMST. Limit of participants is 8.

RULES & DETAILS:
-Between the registration deadline (one hour before the tourney starts) and the starting time of the tourney, I will try to gather all the participants, at first I will tag all of them in #discussion channel and we might do practice/test runs before the tourney starts. The #discussion channel will also be used for communication by the participants during the tourney, maybe also the voice room.
-We will use a mod which affects the cars’ performance - Lightweight Handling Mod by @Elven. Please download the latest version from here: https://nfsmods.xyz/mod/1685
-Other car mods and/or hacking which gives any advantage is not allowed (such as hacks that increase the speed during races and/or infinite NOS hack).
-You can use any car in any round, stick to a single one or use more! All UG2 cars are allowed in any round. As usual, any dyno tuning is allowed along with both unique perf parts (you can use more than 3) and glitched ECU & Turbo dyno tuning. Thus, it’s recommended to use all of these 3 save games simultaneously as a base for your tunes and just switch between these saves in-game them until you find the fully upgraded car you’re looking for: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/635962397772873739/705173639682719865/NFS_Underground_2.rar (extract all content to AppData\Local\NFS Underground 2)
If you already have these saves, you should replace them still for this tourney at least as I have updated the ones above for the ideal Circuit drivetrain settings in dyno tuning on each car for the perf mod we’ll use - Many of the cars will be able to reach a top speed of roughly 225 MPH in Circuit/Sprint/Outrun/Free Roam, not more so acceleration isn’t sacrificed. It takes 3 saves because these saves contain all UG2 cars fully upgraded in both ‘Career Cars’ and ‘My Cars’, plus most of them come with both every single unique perf part and glitched ECU & Turbo dyno tuning. If you want 106 and Corsa (#featured_mods for needed files), you will find them only on the 3rd save that is named ‘PiZZA’, those two are the last two cars in ‘My Cars’. Please use the first 2 saves for the rest of the cars since on this save, only 106 and Corsa have been tuned appropriately for the perf mod we’ll use. However, they are the only 2 cars without unique perf parts and without and glitched ECU & Turbo dyno tuning, and they top out at 215 MPH in Circuit/Sprint/Outrun/Free Roam.
IF you aren’t going to change the suspension tuning of these cars, then it’s recommended to keep ‘Stability Control’ (from Options - Player) ‘On’, otherwise some cars might be slippery.
-You can change the visuals of your car (paints, vinyls, etc.), but avoid changing to lower visual rating body parts since it slows down the turning speed of UG2 cars.
-Intentional wall-grinding/wallride is prohibited (all races will have a referee that will watch the participants possibly with camera mod to make sure this rule can be respected).
-Leaving any race intentionally will result in a disqualification.
-Waiting at the finish line is prohibited.

-Collision Detection: No
-Car Performance Restrictions: None
-Race Breaker (NOS refill via drafting, powersliding, etc.): Yes
