It has been 28 seasons and counting since a Canadian team has won the NHL's biggest prize, North America's greatest trophy, the Stanley Cup. It's not like they've been without representation, 5 franchises have made it in that time, going 0-5 along the way.

We're going to change that today. Not only are we going to bring the NHL's highest honor back north of the border, but we are going to have every single franchise be a part of it. My challenge is going to be to bring a Stanley Cup to all 7 of Canada's NHL franchises.

In some cases, it will be easy. In others, not as much. There's a couple strong Cup contenders in this bunch, one still working their way out of a rebuild, but mostly teams with more questions than answers about their rosters, arguably the toughest teams to rebuild.

My initial goal is going to be to complete this challenge before the beginning of the 2022 Stanley Cup Finals, giving myself up to 10 years per team to complete the challenge, however if one of those goals misses I will not consider the challenge a failure. If this is complete by NHL 22 and all 7 teams win a title, then this will still be a success. But why not add some extra fun to this challenge?
