Something a bit different than the other NHL '94 LongPlay, now you get to hear Ron Barr talk about every team's starting lineup. The Sega CD version of NHL '94 had a lot more to it, like real mastered versions of the MIDI tracks and such, while retaining the same gameplay. The crowd noises make it seem more authentic, although because they're a CD track, they have to restart every time they run out... so sometimes there is no crowd at all, while the CD spools up.

The Sega CD NHL '94 edition also includes some video highlights, given the format's additional storage space. So I've included those as well.

If you really really love NHL '94, you should definitely pick this one up if you can. It's amazing! And yes, it is the guy from Tony Larussa Baseball II doing the talking.

NHL '94 was developed by EA Canada (who else?) and High Score Productions. It was released on the Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, and PC-DOS platforms.
