NICK54222 MUGEN: Homura Akemi (me) VS Sephiroth (Akira)
20So as I mentioned in a post last night, these videos today will be posted later than usual. For one, I had to do these battles last minute because I had a bit too much fun yesterday with Christmas. But I suppose I won't have to worry about delays since I don't have school to worry about anyways. However, the other reason is self-explanatory: I'm facing Sephiroth in both videos.
Yes, the cheap ass mofo from Final Fantasy VII who somehow became the new Smash fighter recently will be my opponent. And BTW, I did try facing Gulthor's Sephiroth, but the biggest problem with him was how you can't combo him. And that's a problem, given how many of my mains tend to use combos. So I ended up facing Akira's and AKIMICHI's versions respectively. But yeah, sorry for those of you who wanted a battle with Gulthor's Sephiroth...
I face Akira's Sephiroth with Homura. And boy, I think it's safe to say that most Sephiroths out there are brutal. This one has quite the range given his Masamune, but its priority made this battle quite challenging. Heck, I even tried to face it for a request with another character, but I honestly had to get lucky. But the dangerous hypers can be tedious at times, especially that one where he jumps down from the sky and attacks from above.
I think I was a bit too reliant on my counters with Homura. Probably going too fast, but this is Sephiroth we're talking about here. I don't know how I dodged his sky attack at the end there, but thanks to the counter, I managed to survive in time.
