Alright, so there's gonna be a slight change of plans this week as there's another POTS Style fighter I'd like to face, but while it's not from varo_hades, it isn't exactly from a new face here. However, I've decided to spare ZMugens/Zelgadix and Diek Stiekem since they're new to making POTS Styles.
Today's fight will be a creation from the latter, and it's Ivy from Soulcalibur. Now TBH, Soulcalibur fighters haven't had many good creations into MUGEN despite me adding some of them to the roster. Since they're moving from a 3D to a 2D engine, it can be tough to convert individual tactics. However, the nature of the developers who made most of them could be possible as well...
So this Ivy's AI really tends to use kicks when she gets close. Or at least what she thinks is close as she kicks some distance away. You would think it would be great to punish her with low attacks, but apparently Ivy's hitboxes say otherwise, which may explain this behavior. Other than that, I don't know what else to say about it as I don't intend to face any more of Diek's creations for now...
I will say that I decided not to use Nayuki's Level 3 this time. But I did find her V-Thrust to be more useful in punishing rather than slide kicking, which depending on the timing, can get countered by huge hitboxes. Plus, I got some combos down this time. Much better than the last fight I did with her for sure. On a side note, MUGEN INDO's featuring Nayuki in his fanfic based on my team and my Spec Ops Clash story from two years ago.
BTW, this library stage may cause seizures due to glitches with the stage, but fortunately, I've found more stages. Hopefully they'll be decent enough despite some being just an image of the stage...
