Professor Calamitous has kidnapped SpongeBob, Timmy, Jimmy, Danny, and Tak to create giant robot duplicates of them. He has also used toys to build factories in each of their worlds and use them to take over the world and win in the World's Biggest Genius show. Luckily, Cosmo and Wanda finds Timmy and everyone else locked up. But with only a short amount of juice, they uses their wands to rescue one of their friends so they can figure out Calamitous' actions and find the keys to help the gang escape and stop the mad doctor from not only taking over the world but from winning the show.
The heroes start off in Pupununu Village, then through Fairy World, The Ghost Zone (Amity Park), Bikini Bottom, and Retroville (where every house including Jimmy's house was brought into a giant toy factory.)
Played through the game in Super Elite Mode which gives everyone a maximum 100% plus all their abilities unlocked making the game more easier.
In the game, SpongeBob can use his karate gear to attack robots and blow bubbles underwater (later on, SpongeBob can throw water balloons that creates giant bubbles capturing dangerous enemies.) Timmy can turn enemies into bouncing furniture to reach higher places and even crawl into tiny spots by turning into a frog. Jimmy can hack platform machines that allow him to reach other areas and shrink enemies with his shrink ray, Danny is able to go through blue walls by turning into a ghost and fight various toy robots. He can even go into the robots and take control over them. Tak can use his staff to blast the evil toys and climb through ropes and vines.
You can even use their abilities to find the other Nicktoons located in each and every area, but you can't just expect to find them all in one run as they are all hidden in lots of places.
