The NFL has laid down the hammer on Nigel Bradham and he will be suspended for week one versus the Atlanta Falcons on a 1-week suspension penalty.

This was for a 2016 incident with the Miami police for a suspicion battery/aggravated assault where Jim Schwartz called him a "dumbass" for getting in trouble.

His statement to the Eagles and fans:

"I would like to apologize to my fans, coaches, teammates and the entire eagles organization for the 1 game suspension. This stems from a July 2016 incident and the matter is now resolved. I look forward to giving it my all this season and helping the team win another Championship"
