Ninja Assault Arcade
41An evil demon lord known as the Shogun Kigai has surfaced and kidnapped the Princess Koto to complete his resurrection.
Two ninjas, Guren and Gunjo, set out to rescue her. During a scuffle with some of Kigai's mooks, they're cornered near a shrine and all seems lost.
However, the shrine opens and reveals mystical weapons...which most from the modern age would recognize as guns. These weapons, however, are very effective against the demon hordes; thus Guren and Gunjo begin turning the tide against the forces of Kigai....
Ninja Assault is a standard on-rails shooter with a unique mechanic,if you keep hitting enemies without missing them, a combo counter keeps going up giving you extra points.
5 hit combo = 500pts;
10 hit combo = 1000pts;
15 hit combo = 1500pts etc.
Each enemy has their own life bar and may require multiple hits to dispatch,your combo will also reset to 0 if you are hit and when the level ends.
There is also e main type of bonus is Quick Kill (QK) where you must kill certain opponents quickly for extra points.
Damage taken reduces a lifebar that can be refilled with medpack items found in boxes.There is also need hidden treasures that give you bonus points.
But this is true only in some levels,the majority of them don't have any boxes while others have secret spots to shoot.
While the game is similar to other light gun Namco shooters, like Time Crisis II, this game doesn't use a pedal to reload but you need to shoot off-screen to reload (the old fashion way).
The games has 9 stages,each one continues on to the next in linear fashion, and the characters progress through each level automatically as enemies are defeated.
The game support 2 players co-op.
