The second act is much more difficult than the first one. There are actual pits involved and one hit could be what it takes to end a life. This stage gets you used to some Ninja Gaiden basics: frustrating enemy placement, difficult jumps, and unforgiving respawn rates.

This is a sword only run on Ninja Gaiden for the NES. In this case, Sword only means no projectiles mainly. There are magical projectiles or shuriken that you can typically fire. I'm avoiding that. The only exception is called Jump and Slash and that is because it consists of a jumping sword attack (not a projectile). During the day of the upload, I haven't finished the run and I'm unsure whether I'll be able to finish it. We'll see what happens.

Ninja Gaiden is a classic challenge for the NES. It's a trilogy that's known for it's unforgiving respawn rates and constant one hit KOs due to pits everywhere.
