Ninja Gaiden II (Act II)
0In this second Act to Ninja Gaiden II Ryu learns the name of his enemy. A mysterious emperor known as Ashtar from the world of chaos, tying in to the "Sword of Chaos". But this is virtually all he learns for now after defeating this boss.\n\nI really love the layout of this stage, showing Ryu on a train and then traveling through some rather harsh mountainous area. It kind of shows how he's come from the city area (first stage) to a more wild territory, giving you the feel that he's actually travelling. Unlike the first game where he's in the city, then in a prison and then at some weird greek-like area. ??? HOW did he get THERE?! The layout here makes way more sense even though I still like the first game. This just feels like a big improvement though. I also love the cinema where he's overlooking the temple he's about to arrive at.\n\nOh, and I'm aware that I pick up the spirit ninja in this level, kind of going against my policy not to use upgrades in my games. It's just that these things look way too cool in this game, so I had to get them. But if you pay attention though you'll see I am reluctant to use them on the bosses.
