Ninja Gaiden III (Prologue)
0The intro to this Ninja Gaiden is quite good and creative. The first time I saw it I was like, "Whaaat?! Ryu killing Irene? What type of Ninja Gaiden is this?" This seemed promising, as a new type of story was being set up here and felt like a fresh start. Too bad I can't say the rest of the game is as good as this. The story has a lot of holes and seems roughly constructed, but this does have one certain quality. It's definately the most challenging of the series!
I you pay close attention at the beginning, it actually is very similar to the first game prologue, as he was out for revenge in that one too. Over the death of his father though. Almost like he's come full circle. Just a cool little thing I noticed. Are they paying homage? or just ripping off the first game?
