On this playthrough I used 7 continues, but I have successfully beaten VHARD using no continues.
For those unfamiliar with this game, but familiar with Pokemon Puzzle League, VHARD and SHARD are swapped. So, VHARD is the hardest difficulty in this game, while SHARD is the hardest difficulty in Pokemon Puzzle League.
