팽이보드라는 익스트림 스포츠의 달인이자 유명 스트리머로, 구독자 수를 높이기 위해 참전했다. 이름 답게 뱀, 좀 더 정확하겐 코브라의 이미지를 가졌으며, 이 컨셉 때문인지 허리는 긴데 다리는 짧은 저주받은 체형(...)을 하고 있다. 극히 드물다는 선천적 ARMS 능력자로, 한번도 맨얼굴을 공개한 적이 없기 때문에 그가 인간이 맞는지 조차 확인되지 않았으며, 이 때문에 ARMS 연구소의 주목을 받고 있다.
일반 대시는 느리지만, 챠지상태에서는 대시가 대폭 강화된다. 강화 대시를 사용할 땐 뱀 모양의 이펙트가 생기며 앞으로 대쉬했을때는 날라오는 암을 슬라이딩으로 피한다. 챠지 유지시간도 긴 편이라 한번 챠지하면 약 3번 정도 연속대시가 가능하며 공격모션이 짧고 간결한 암이라면 챠지 상태에서 2번까지 발사 가능하다. 또한 점프 속도가 매우 빠르다. 잡기 대미지는 170으로 그럭저럭 높은 편. 하지만 일반대쉬가 느리고 점프도 낮아 공중전은 기동성이 낮은편.
전반적으로 스피드형 캐릭터로 우수한 챠지 대시와 빠른 점프속도를 살려 트릭키한 움직임으로 상대방 공격을 막거나 카운터하기 보다 회피하여 빈틈을 찌르는 스타일이다.
출시 후 사기캐 수준은 아니지만 최강캐라는 평가다. 점프가 빠르고 간결하기 때문에 점프샷이 굉장히 잘 먹히는데다, 특히 디폴트 암만 사용 가능한 공식 경기에서는 양손 버티컬이 상대방 점프샷을 봉인해 버리는 효과가 있기 때문이다. 그렇기 때문에 제작진에서 알게모르게 하향을 시키는 편.
2.1.0 패치 이후 픽률 집계에서 2위를 기록했다.
KID COBRA
Kid Cobra is a playable fighter in ARMS. He is a professional snakeboarder and live streamer.
Appearance
Kid Cobra's extendable ARMS have a scaly, snake-like appearance. His spiraled eyes are heterochromatic, with one being green, and the other purple. He wears a helmet shaped like the head and hood of a cobra, his skin-tight shirt looks scaly, and his baggy pants bear a design made up of many stylized snakes. The treads of his sneakers also look like snakeskin.
Backstory
Kid Cobra is one of the few people who had his extendable ARMS since birth, occurring in only 1 in 100,000 people. Due to the fact that he always wears a mask and his race hasn't been confirmed yet, it makes Kid Cobra an interesting surveying target.
Abilities
Kid Cobra has one of the slowest dashes when uncharged but his jump is the highest. When dashing towards an opponent on the ground while charged, he can perform consecutive dashes while ducking under all incoming attacks. In addition, all dashes, midair or grounded, are quicker and provide more distance. The longer he's been charged, the more consecutive dashes can be performed, up to four. When attacking during a charged dash, all ARMS that change attack pattern will attack as if they were in midair (i.e. Scorpio and Funchuk)
Playstyle
Kid Cobra's main advantage is his mobility especially when charged, and with his quick short hop means he can get charged much more easily than most! His massive jump distance, charged dash speed and continuous movement with his dashes, while being able to slide under punches mean he can get to close range and pressure, or escape and retreat with a frightening level of quickness.
He excels at pressuring opponents with his speed, and his massive ARM girth, if he stays unpredictable
Trivia
Kid Cobra was first revealed to be playable during the ARMS Direct on May 17th, 2017.
His cyan color scheme is similar to the Coolerang's.
He is the only non-artificial playable character known to have been born with the ARMS ability.
His affiliated group, the Naja Crew is named after the Naja genus of cobra, also referred to as the "true cobras".
Kid Cobra appears to have some level of fear for the mongoose, rather fitting his snake related nature.
Kid Cobra is the only one who is able to flip the snakeboard by air-dashing while charged at Snake Park. This is the only way to see the bottom view of the snakeboard at said stage.
