Walkthrough:
Head back towards the Big Bridge, and head to the left side of the continent. You will see a cave entrance that we haven't been in before. This is the Gil Cave, which contains one of the hardest repeatable bosses in the game. I only fight it once to complete the Beastiary.

00:56 - Gil Cave
In this initial part of the cave, there is only 1 monster that you will encounter, an Undergrounder. These aren't challenging at all, but feel free to use Level 4 Graviga to make them even easier. Work your way towards the southern portion of the map, then head east and north. You will get to a room/corridor that rewards you with gil for every step that you take. The amount of gil doubles for each step. The downside is that you run the risk of encountering the Gil Turtle for every step. In theory, you can get maximum gil here if you want, but I don't recommend it.

03:09 - Gil Turtle (Boss)
The Gil Turtle is no joke and it will certainly be the hardest monster you've fought so far. It will counter every attack that you do by using Turtle twice. Turtle will afflict random debuffs on the person it hits, including poison, paralyze, confusion, blind, etc. In my opinion, the simplest way to defeat the gil turtle is to have 3 members of your team constantly casting White Wind or large heals, and having only 1 member do as much damage as possible.

You could use Dualcast + Blizzaga to exploit the turtles weakness to ice magic if you want. For me, the easiest method was to simply have 1 member cast Zeninage and do 2,550 damage per turn. The Gil Turtle has over 32,000 HP, so this will take a while, but once you get the rhythm down, it's not that bad. The main focus is to keep your team alive while you slowly chip away at the Gil Turtle's HP pool.

Feel free to try to get as much gil as you want here, but you won't gain much gil if you follow my method of throwing 2,550 gil away every turn in combat. When you are ready, head out of the cave and we will pick up a couple remaining Beastiary entries before we head over to Castle Exdeath.

09:55 - Island South of Fork Tower
You will know you are at the right island because of the forest on the island. You will only encounter new monsters here inside the forest. While you can encounter Sleepy, Triffid, Hedgehog and Shadow's here, I only fight all but the Hedgehog because those are relatively common monsters later. Once you have encountered them all, go heal up and be sure you have everything done in this world, as you won't be able to come back here after the next area.
