Walkthrough:
Simply head a little ways north until you arrive at the mountain dungeon. Once inside, enter the first cave that you come across for 5,000 gil. You will occasionally encounter a monster named ??? that will hit you once and then run. You will be able to fight it later, so don't worry about it for now. Continue down the linear path, collecting the Beastiary entries that you need. Use Break or Break Blade to take care of the Bone Dragons, as they can be deadly.

Inside the next cave you will find another chest that contains a Cottage and proceed outside. Once you exit the next cave, you can interact with a skull that is lying on the ground to pick up Bone Mail (06:37), which looks appealing, but has the serious drawback of making the wearer undead. This means you'll be weak to fire, cures, etc.

In the next cave, fall down the crack in the floor and pick up the chest that contains 7,000 gil. Take the stairs on your left then hit the skull switch on the wall. Back track and head up the other staircase where you can now exit that same cave.

06:39 - Golem (Boss)
Once you take the newly opened path, you will randomly encounter a fight with a Golem, Bone Dragon and Zombie Dragon. Golem will ask for your help, so you should give it to it and take out both dragons before they kill the Golem. As thanks for your help, Golem will give you an item that allows you to summon him. Golem is a very good buffing summon.

With that out of the way, continue to follow the main pathway and enter the new cave. First, take the left path (unlike me) to pick up a Hypno Crown and Wind Slash, both of which you should equip immediately. Head over to the right path and follow it until you reach the top of the mountain and find what appears to be Dragon Grass on the ground.

12:41 - Dragon Pod + Dragon Flower (Boss)
This is an easy fight with Blue Magic. First, use Death Claw on the Dragon Pod, which will bring it's HP down to single digits, then just have someone else use Aqua Breath or any other group damaging spell/ability.

With the Dragon Grass in hand, head back to the Castle of Bal to treat the wind drake. You can teleport out of the dungeon if you wish, but I always prefer to run out for more exp/ABP.

20:25 - Castle of Bal
When you get back to the castle, you quickly learn that you can't just go in through the front door. Instead, you have to enter through the moat that you did when picking up the hidden items here. Head inside the castle and talk to Krile before heading up to the sick wind drake, who thanks you by allowing you to fly on its back.
