The Nintendo Switch revolutionized handheld gaming, why did the Vita fail? Lack of First Party support after 2013, or simply bad design, much like the Wii U?

In this Nintendo Switch Video, we talk about the success of the Nintendo Switch, and why does the PSVita exist in 2017?

The Playstation Vita came out in February 2012 in the USA, December 2011 in Japan, and was a very good device until I discovered the iPad in early 2013, and an iPod in late 2012. As you guys know that is when I started playing The Simpsons Tapped Out, and February 2013, I started doing Youtube.

While the Playstation Vita expanded on what the Playstation Portable was going with, but multiple problems arose.

* Everyone's UMD library was obselete
* Sony's biggest fail, using their own memory cards, instead of doing like Nintendo and encrypting them for use on YOUR system only.
* No Clickable Analog Sticks, no L2/R2 on the Vita
* Console is too small, my Smarthphone is bigger.
* Remote Play is a massive fail, even with the PS4, early on you could only use Remote Play in 30 FPS, and you cannot livestream while using remote play.
* Cellular that did not allow you to play online with games, only use web browsing and social media.

While the Wii U was a failure because of a lot of bad design choices, I was one that really loved the gamepad of the Wii U, and very glad to see that they made a console out of a portable gamepad.

I urge each of you to support your third parties like Ubisoft, EA, Activision, Square Enix, Namco Bandai, Warner Bros, Bethesda, and even the Indies, so we can see their AAA titles like Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Grand Theft Auto, Far Cry, Battlefield, Overwatch, Diablo, and new games, not games like Street Fighter II(Even though it's a great game) that are recycled.

So, buy NBA2K18(Don't worry about microtransactions, don't use them), Dragonball Xenoverse 2, Skyrim, FIFA 18, WWE2K18, LEGO games, etc, so the developers port their big titles over, and we can eventually see games like Hearthstone, Elder Scrolls Online, Final Fantasy XIV, Marvel Heroes Omega, Warframe, SMITE, etc make an appearance, even if you have to be tied to WIFI to play(Or tether wifi)

I would love to see a true Playstation Vita successor, 1080p Display, with TV out(Using the same HDCP restrictions on the PS4, no media, just games), 512GB internal storage, Dual Triggers, Clickable Analog Sticks, SD card support(Or directly connect to a PS4 to use it's storage), and allow you to play all of your digital PS4 games on the machine, with proper 4G LTE support so you can actually play games on the go with your cellular signal.

Enjoy the video and if you have any questions, or video ideas, please run them my way! If you like the video, feel free to comment, like, subscribe, and help get the word out to your friends.
