With Ethernet, you get faster connections of better quality than Wi-Fi. For some reason though, you have to buy a $10-20 adapter, and even in the Smash Direct they said to use it, while the competition comes with it built in. Also, I don't remember if I mentioned this on camera, but the Ethernet on the WiiU is only 10/100, while the Ethernet on the Xbox One and PS4 is 10/100/1000 (Gigabit).
