Part 3 - The Yokai Struggle
We begin our first actual mission past the tutorial, and arrive on an island crawling with bandits. We work our way to the end, to investigate the Yokai problem here. Along the way we learn about Kodama blessings, and find little green spirits to send back to the shrine to help us along the way. We seemingly have no problem with the bandits, but once we have our first Yokai encounter, the real struggle begins. We die many times to this fiend and have to work our way all the way back up over and over again, only to discover when we finally defeat him, that there's a shrine just past the gate who's key he was guarding. We decide this is a good place to take a break, and recover a little from the adrenaline spike. We will pick up here and explore the village below, next time.
