Releasing the montage I made of my FINAL build before it got demolished by patch 1.20 nerfs. No commentary. 1st half is normal version, 2nd half is DOUBLE GRACE version. It was made to be the ultimate Abyss build. Read Description for build breakdown.

Normal Ver: 0:00
Double Grace Ver: 2:58
Build: 7:27

Since I can't fit everything in the description, see pinned comment for feelings on the whole situation.

As mentioned, first half is that of the normal build, 2nd half and essentially build showcase at the end is with double graces. I made sure to show wpn lvl every time, there's no foolery, the damage I deal is with that wpn or setup. The non-double grace clips were mostly +40-42, while the double graces were mostly +50's and occasional +62 in very few clips. Clarity is important, but it also means I can gain a HUGE amount of damage still. Example every +lvl gives you 35 attack. Okay, well going from +50 to +130 is 80 level difference. So that's 35 x 80 = 2800 ATK! That's a 50% atk boost pretty much from +50 usually, and boss health stops increasing eventually way before floor 800.

But diving into the build, I incorporated sword, since it's powerful and allows me to kill some easier bosses WITHOUT needing to waste a soulstone constantly like a lw kusa or odachi build would. So despite the nerf, the build only lost half its effectiveness. Unfortunately, the build relies heavily on crit, using 2pc fanatic + full kigetsu. 3pc sakuyahime was the only grace I used, 2 on ranged and 1 as the spear, simply for the ccd and occasional atk increased when scorched. So the lw component, its main damage dealer, was heavily nerfed. Luckily if you didn't patch you can enjoy its power. Everything else speaks for itself. relatively easy build to make. Forge chidori spear, 5 slot no inheritable, then defile it, get to +3, then leave on floor 36. So you'd start 33, then leave on 36.

And now for the double grace version. I think double graces are overrated, and thus not even worth your time. I did it to show you, but in reality, the power I gain is very little for the spear part of the build. Initially I was going for full sakuya and full futsu, but then realized I was just killing everything too fast to even inflict fire, so had to redo everything pretty much, in favor for tajikarao. Why taji? because of cta str A+. We get 200 in skill, str, and body, so at 200 with the cta, I gained a raw 210+ atk from it. This is important because you essentially lose your atk inheritables if you go full double grace on everything, meaning you're losing pretty much 210+ atk. So it makes up that loss. So with that in mind, I've come to the conclusion that raw atk is infinitely more important now since nearly all percentile effects will drop off eventually from stacking. So if you didn't update to patch 1.20, and REALLY wanted the MOST damage out of lw spear, I would do 5pc tajikarao ONLY as your double grace, replacing your 2nd weapons inheritable, and then the inheritable on gloves, since your gloves can roll atk. This retains your atk inheritables, but also gains you the cta from tajikaroa. So together you'd gain 420+ atk, and 200 atk outshines a standard 13% ccd bonus from something.

But, instead of that route, I decided to take futsunushi. Not just because of sword, but because of weaken melee wpn immunity. A LOT of bosses in abyss have that effect, and it dramatically reduces damage, so by default, we'll do constant high damage no matter what, which translates to being more powerful against certain hard bosses like sanada or date. I think it's the only set worth doing for double grace, the utility is too strong. of course since I use sword, it boost that as well. Notice the first restless spirits clip, then the double grace one with nearly equal atk. 330k all the way to 530k, huge difference. And then I might as well get 20% pierce guard from full futsu to help spear melt humans even better.

So, that's essentially the build, and setups. Not too in-depth, but you'd have to change everything anyways if you've patched. if you didn't, copy everything from the video, it's that plain and simple. To get grace inheritables, you need to forge gear that has full slots (7) WITH and inheritable, then defile them. when they turn ethereal, the grace will replace 1 random stat onthe gear, so the trick is to hope it replaces the inheritable. Again, needs to be full 7 stated, only way is to forge stuff that has two perma stats, like lightning canon or onmyo armor etc etc. Prepare to savescum an ass ton unless you got 100's of droplets to waste.

As a final send off, thanks to everyone who've supported me and enjoyed my Nioh content, but its time to move onto new horizons, hopefully you'll stand by my side as we set sail onto new adventures :) Hope you enjoy the build, have fun. Peace.
