Nioh - Wind Elemental Spear Build (FUN Spear Build)

HOW TO GET GEAR: Gallantry set can be farmed from Ishida Mitsunari, from "Defiled Holy Mountain" mission. Yatagerasu can be farmed from "Immortal Flame" Mission. Warrior of the west alternative should be obvious, face Tachibana in Kyushu region. For spear kill Shima Saikon in Sekigaraha mission.
I stayed relatively lower leveled, with only 150+6 weapon, meaning you can do most things in video by the time you get gallantry without grinding. Though you won't be OP. THIS IS NOT AN OP BUILD (nor are most spear builds saying they are). It's simply average, and that's mainly due to the class. If you want the most damaging spear build go low life crit like majority of the playerbase does, but this is for people wanting to break from the mold and try something different. Note: This build has a hard time with yuki+oda. You CAN kill them, but they take effort, so I advise to only farm Two kings instead, which is much easier in comparison using Daiba.
Thoughts on Spear: I like it. But damage is definitely a lot lower to compensate for the range and speed of the wpn. Skills aren't really strong like say Iai quickdraw or Blade spin. Mystic arts do crap all for damage/defense. But that said you also gain a lot of utility. Lots towards humans anyways. I've tried gallantry + sanada + kingo for lots of final blow damage, but it seemed meh everywhere else, so went for the extra ccd from yatagerasu. I've also tried tombo-kiri with merciless barrage but that seemed super slow compared to just hitting them, then dealing a final blow and killing them anyways.
As should be clear by the video, I don't like status builds reliant on status effects for damage (why I never used any prior to this). Despite gearing for discord/CONFUSION, killing them is just WAY faster with outright offensive gear/raw power. Then you have enemies who resist certain elements making gaining that benefit hard, even if you use guardian talismans to proc element. But I wanted to try it at least once thus this build took the bullet. I do like the wind element however. Wind + water seemed the most useful, with lighting being on par thanks to slowing them down.
The build is just something I used, you can build off however you want, but just wanted to bring attention to some extra options most don't consider nor are told when they ask what they should do :)
