Nioh - Mastodon (Super Tanky Axe Spin2win Build)
594The Tankiest build...probably...most likely. 2nd best build in the game arguably. It's simply too well rounded not to be.

*HOW TO GET GEAR*: Tatenashi can be found from revenants, or smithing text obtained from "Return of the Gourd" mission. Kaido Axe and Master swordsman dual swords can be dropped from masters in "Marobashi" or from their smithing text. Nue mask can be dropped from...Nue.
*WHAT I TESTED*: So I REALLLLY wanted to not use the same spirits over and over each build. HOWEVER, I just can't justify alternatives. I've tried Fuse-Ushi (the Bull), since it had recovery from amrita gain, and gave 300 life at lv30. The amrita life gain was rather weak, coupled with one from the chest piece, it came to about the same as Kara-jishi recovery. Except, kara-jishi provided a huge attack boost, something I'd argue we need given the set we wear provides little in damage. Had the life recovery been significantly more I would use it, but since it's on par or worse, I dropped it. I then thought of doing a near-infinite spin build, that wasn't critical health. Turns out it's not possible. I even used Izuna, which has cckr 15%. While you span longer, you, again, lost damage and life recovery. You could kill equally or faster with just jishi.
So I decided to just go full tank, and this is the result. I think this is THE tankiest and most powerful tank build, due to mad spinner being crazy dps, and jishi's life recovery. Jishi is better than tengen here because of the life recovery, even if it has defense buff or yokai dmg reduc, it requires you to switch stances for attack buff, and you wouldn't want to stop spinning for that reason, nor can you really afford to use extraction talismans due to limited slots. Alternative setup for some more damage is swapping nue and masters swords out for west stuff for 12.2% ccd, nice damage, your call if you wanna take damage over ki reduction+lighting damage/kodama bowl.
