No Digivolving, Kotemon Solo, Minimal Counters (3/3, Digimon World 2003 Challenge)
Welcome to my challenge for Digimon World 2003.
This is a challenge where I'm not allowed to Digivolve or use any Digimon other than Kotemon. The restriction of not being allowed to Digivolve includes Blast Digivolutions; these are not allowed. I also have to aim to keep the use of counters at a minimum; I'm allowed to use counters but have to aim to use them as little as possible. Although it isn't stated in the video or title, I'm also not allowed to inflict status harm or one-hit-knock-outs (1hko) upon opponents. Some weapons can inflict status harm or 1hko upon opponents, and therefore the use of these weapons would be very risky because if they do inflict status harm or a 1hko then I would fail the challenge.
To help with this challenge, I ensured that I always achieved perfection when training. By this, I mean that I ensured that I didn't have any failures when training. I did this by always saving before training, and reloading if the training didn't go perfectly. If the training did go perfectly then I would continue but save before attempting more training. I also tried to make sure that I had the best equipment that was available to me. This challenge is not Kurt%; the fact that I'm only allowed to use one Digimon means that it wouldn't be possible to obtain the five strongest epic items. Therefore it won't be possible to battle the four bonus leaders or Kurt; Galacticmon is as far as it can go.
This is part 3 of 3.
This part started with me making progress with the Asuka North Sector Seabeds before moving onto the Asuka North Sector Leader. I then saw to the rest of the game, defeating Galacticmon.
I was successful with not Digivolving, only using Kotemon and not inflicting any status harm or 1hko upon opponents. The only time I used counters was when battling the Magami President and the Royal Guards. I used a counter to defeat Raidenmon (Magami President) because it would've been highly unlikely for me to have defeated Raidenmon without counters. I used a counter against Knightmon (Royal Guards) although this wasn't intentional and wasn't something that I was dependant on. Nonetheless, I still used a counter against Knightmon and therefore have to declare it.
