I think some people have it all wrong about the 2nd Amendment. What are they going to do when we become a multiplanetary species?

The argument for unrestricted access to guns is absurd. It is like a bunch of primitive apes defending their right to throw a rock. I believe their perceived right, which is not a right, is a privilege. It is a privilege that can be revoked by the general population.

Here's an example of why I believe that. Human beings will be unable to remain a single planet species forever if they wish to survive far into the future. Even now, plans are being made and projects are underway with the goal of permanent human habitat on the moon and Mars. If I am an individual working or living in a habitat in an airless environment, I don't want any other individual to have in their possession a projectile weapon of any type. NO GUNS!

What happens to their precious 2nd Amendment rights when they live in Mars City #1? They may have a right to carry a blade if they are so in fear of being attacked, but they may not endanger everyone because they think they have some right to a machine like a projectile weapon.

As far as endangering everybody goes, nobody has a right to that.
