A fan of the later Wasteland sequels, I had heard stories of the brutal adventure that was the original Wasteland, but never indulged. It was actually Wasteland 2 that convinced me to go backward, to this blockbuster that birthed the post-apocalyptic RPG. It was popular enough to warrant a sequel much earlier on, but due to market shifts in computing, its planned successor passed through several hands to eventually become the game we know as...Fallout! Now I'm exploring this great-grandparent of the genre for the first time, and the Desert Rangers are glad to have your support as we try to bring order to the Wasteland.
