No Man's Sky | Patch 1.03 Base Building and Huge Freighter Ownership Upcoming!? Awesome Updates!
256No Man's Sky Patch 1.03...holy crap, several people started messaging me about this, and wouldn't you know it, I was actually in the middle of rendering the video :D. The patch notes, for the most part, are amazing and I'm glad to see just about every single thing in those patch notes. They sound like fine upgrades and enhancements to the game, as well as some balance and mechanics changes. But the real insane stuff comes AFTER the patch notes! Yes, after the bullet list is done, there's a little paragraph that even game journalist websites missed on their first go through, and THAT is where the real amazing stuff is mentioned. It says, "Next up we’re adding the ability to build bases and own giant space freighters." Sweet mother of internet Jesus, is that not what a ton of people have been looking for!? Bases and space freighters? Yes please! The community interest in those two things has been so incredibly strong, that apparently the developers took note of it! This is why I'm happy that they're willing to look at some of the interests people have, and if it doesn't damage the basis behind the game, add it to enhance the gameplay as well as the way we can all interact with the game itself!
