Your build-in microphone isn't working with the C920 on linux? Well, you're very likely running into USB bus / bandwidth issues! Yes, I've checked the kernel log when I tried and was experiencing low (and inconsistent) frame rates... Perhaps more on this in the future! Oh yes, when trying full-hd with this webcam the issues were very clearly there... So, it's bandwidth related.
