Bishop Sidaks may be gone, but he isn't forgotten--he's got some friends in some pretty nice places. As Shinobu is giving her prayers to him, so is another man.
The game makes no mention of it, but that guy is Takashi Miike (not a typo; it's pronounced "MEE-keh"), big-name movie director in Japan best known for horror films like Ichi the Killer, but he has also made a bunch of other work such as The Great Yokai War and the 2009 adaptation of Yatterman. Miike voices himself in both the Japanese and English audio for this game.
That Bishop knew Takashi Miike on a personal level is probably why he can run a successful video store when most video stores in America are either going out of business or out of business already. Anyway, Miike gives a gift to Travis and asks Shinobu to hold onto it and give it to Travis. Once we get control of Travis again, we'll find out what it is.
Rank 8 can be found at a set of abandoned warehouses on the outskirts of Santa Destroy. This place is built like a maze, and there are treasure chests strewn about in every corner, so we're going to be spending quite a while here.
You'll notice at one spot, I cut after Shinobu falls from a buildingtop. She doesn't get hurt from this, her being a ninja and all, but she basically has to start over from the bottom and make her way back up. I know none of you like watching that, so I cut it to where she returns back there. Then she falls off again because I wasn't sure what you were supposed to do.
Not to worry--by the time this video ends, she'll be near the end.
