While a 'remake' is a game that has been developed from the ground up, a 'remaster' is an updated version that uses existing assets from the original game. In the case of the PS3 and Xbox 360 releases of No More Heroes, they might look like 'remakes' at first glance, but they are 'remasters' by definition - just like the Switch and PC releases.

Note: "The original video was in processing limbo, so I decided to make a new version in case I need to delete the old version and replace it with this new version."

Note 2: "Some call the PS3/Xbox360 versions remakes, others call them 'real HD remasters' and the Switch version is simply referred to as an 'HD port' of the original Wii version, even if this version is now officially advertised as an 'HD Remaster' by Nintendo."
