No Practice, No Problem?
55It’s been a while since I took to the Red Bull Ring for round 2 of the ADAC GT4 Support Series on RaceRoom Racing Experience. My pace was strong but a mistake in the race sent me to the back of the field. However, with a revamped force feedback system throwing the game into the limelight, I was looking forward to getting back out there in a competitive environment.
There was one small issue however…. A PC hardware issue at home over the weekend meant I couldn’t complete a single lap of practice prior to the evening of the race. This is something I would normally be able to cope with, but considering I had never completed a single lap of the Lausitzring in my life, I was really up against it.
I jumped in the rig at Traxion Towers, fired up the new Fanatec CSL DD and gave it my all with nothing to lose. Could I possibly still grab a decent race result in my Audi R8 by simply winging it?
