No Search & Microsoft Store Apps not working WINDOWS 10/11 PC FIX! [2022]
2I recently had this HUGELY annoying Microsoft Windows issue on my PC. I couldn't use the Windows Search, it would just appear blank & any time i tried to use a Microsoft Store App, like Xbox it would instantly crash. After days of trying to figure the fix for these issues & trying many different fixes from Windows repair, troubleshooting & even installing WIndows 11 to no avail, I discovered the issue was a corrupt account on my pc!
How to fix:
1 - Open Windows Powershell
Press Windows+R to open the Run dialog box, and then type “powershell” in the text box. You can either click “OK” (or press the Enter) to open a regular PowerShell window, or press Ctrl+Shift+Enter to open an elevated PowerShell window.
2 - Create New User Account in Powershell
Copy this code - “net user NAME PASS /add”
Changing NAME to be the name of your new User Account & PASS to be the password (or remove PASS entirely for no password)
3 - Your Done!
Your newly created user profile should now be able to use the Search Bar & any Windows Store programs & apps as normal. Remember to move any files over from your old user account before you delete it! And make your new USER account admin via the Accounts settings menu in windows from your old user account before deleting too.
