Writer and transgender health advocate Micah Rajunov speaks about nonbinary identities. Micah shares their personal gender journey, and highlights how social media has played a critical role in connecting transgender communities.

In addition to their recent book "Nonbinary: Memoirs of Gender and Identity", Micah has published a peer-reviewed article “Using Social Media to Inform Medical Practice and Research in Transgender Health.” For nearly a decade Micah has hosted the website genderqueer.me, a community-based resource for transgender health. Micah has presented talks and workshops about transgender health, educating peers, parents, and providers about the diversity of gender identity. Micah is currently a PhD student studying how digital technology impacts professions at Boston University.
