Here is my first attempt at doing a speedrun on Doom with live commentary. I followed the rules that are used for official speedruns which is just to play on Ultra-Violence difficulty.

I only planned on doing "Knee Deep In The Dead" because of how much time I knew I had at this point in the day. I do want to try and blast through the whole game at some point, even though it is slower to play the xbox version over a PC version.

I think with some practice I could do a pretty good run on the game, especially maps like E1M5. This one wasn't too bad considering I haven't played Doom in over a year and I have never attempted to speedrun any part of it before. It was fun to do though.

Unfortunately I didn't get to finish this run off since I had to leave for college but I do plan on having another attempt in the future on this game, as well as on other games.
