noobish ps3 hdd change pt2
0Welcome to part 2, simply because youtube limits me at 15 mins...
Again got questions, me or google can help :3
*Backing up your ps3 safely*
-Get a large enough ps3 external drive
-Do a back up
Easy right?
If you are worried about copy locked saves get psn+, but from what i just done (30/08/2011) they WILL work, you are just changing the hard drive and NOT getting a new ps3.
When the ps3 is ready to go again, just do a restore first thing, EVERYTHING (user's etc) will be restored, I will advise for peace of mind to deactivate the console before hand and just re-activate it again when the ps3 is back in its old state.

(Also just incase, its a Western digital 750gb drive i swapped to, the original was a hitachi 120gb which was a surprise...coulda saved me $20 for a hitachi 750gb, oh well, $100 for western digital is money well spent)
