0Welcome to Part Four of my NORCO playthrough — where the Southern Gothic gets stranger, the sci-fi gets swampier, and the mysteries just keep piling up.
In the past, Catherine and the ever-zealous Pawpaw finally make their move on the Garrett cult, sneaking into a decaying mall to steal the Stone — a glowing artifact that may or may not be holy, alien, or both.
Meanwhile in the present, Kay discovers that Superduck — the viral AI that swallowed the Stone — is falling apart fast. It’s sending out a distress signal from deep in Lake Pontchartrain, and Kay heads out with detective Brett LeBlanc to see what’s calling from the water.
