Nordic track / Solaris treadmill with upgraded MC1618DLS has issues that are very odd
This is my old E3000 model it was purchased a few years ago used.
It worked fine for the first year but then started with a problem where it will slow down or stop for a few seconds and then move again. and recently it mostley does not move.
However some times it will work for an hour stright, (but not in the last week)
I have serviced the belt and it rolls smooth.
The deck gets cleaned and lubricated every 6 to 8 months
The belt is not too tight, if I step very hard it will slip a little.
The motor does not get too hot.
The motor pulls about 4.3 amps with no load @ 5MPH
The motor will pull about 11.5 amps at 3mph with me (200lbs) walking.
If I step hard and try to stall the motor it will jump to 16amps
The system came with an MC2100 REVB controller. I replaced it with a MC1618DLS and the problems still persist.
I am going to try going back to the MC2100.
The main display unit never gave proper heart rate from the handle grips. and it will flick out a little for a fraction of a second every so often. I do recall that when I was first troubleshooting the screen would quickly flick off, but all the counters would keep going it would slow down and then come back.
Any advice you could offer would be super helpful
