In September of 2019, I flew to Boston for a special, top-secret project that I can’t wait to tell you about later. I would only be in town for 24 hours, so I hit the ground running after my secret project was done. I hit up the beautiful and historic North End neighborhood for an epic food tour! Come along with me as I enjoy some of Boston’s best clam chowder, lobster rolls, pizza, and cannolis!

I started at Quincy Market, a 2-story marketplace that opened in 1826 and takes up 27,000 square feet of space! I found someone to point me in the right direction to find a lobster roll. I tried a sample of some New England clam chowder, which I got from a friendly vendor. He even gave me two live lobsters to hold! He gave me a deal because I was filming!

I got a clam chowder in a bread bowl, and a lemonade. I went outside to eat. The lobster roll contained large chunks of lobster! I sampled a bit before I dug in. It also contained lettuce, mayo, and had bread crumbs on top. I can’t even put into words how amazing it was! The bun was buttery and fluffy and the mix with the mayo was fantastic. It was addictive but so filling!

Then I tacked the New England clam chowder, which was creamy and had big pieces of clam and potatoes! I couldn’t get enough of it. I loved mixing it with the bread bun, which was slowly falling apart on the inside. Whenever you have the option of having soup inside a bread bowl, you should take it. It elevates the soup to the next level!

My lemonade was very lemony. I really wanted a beer, but it was still amazing!

Every time I come to the northeast, the lobster always blows me away. Then, I went back to the bread bowl and broke off pieces and dipped them into the chowder. It was unreal and had my mouth watering!

After my meal, I was getting full, so I figured I had room for maybe one slice of pizza and one cannoli.

I continued exploring the North End on foot. This area contains Paul Revere’s House, Old North Church, and many other historical sites. It’s also known as Boston’s Little Italy and I could see lots of old buildings all around me. This place is heaven for history lovers!

Next, I headed to Regina’s Pizza, which was named America’s #1 pizzeria on TripAdvisor! I sampled an Oktoberfest beer before ordering a slice of sausage, pepper, and onion pizza. The pizza looked phenomenal! It was as big as my head! I also enjoyed a fruity, tasty, and hoppy IPA that tasted like peaches and nectarines.

The sausage had lots of Italian flavor and the dough was fluffy and crispy. The cheese was really nice as well! This pizza was out of this world! It was so filling, but I couldn’t forget my beer.

I headed back out. It had gotten cold out and I had gotten really full, but I was still looking forward to having a cannoli!

I arrived at Mike’s Pastry, which serves over 25 types of cannoli! It was super packed and the line was like a free-for-all! I got a Florentine cannoli and a pistachio cannoli. The Florentine had chocolate chips and lots of ricotta cream!

The pistachio cannoli was a monster! It was so decadent and I loved the creamy ricotta and the pistachios. There was so much cream inside! The cookie was nice and crunchy but not too hard.

The Florentine cannoli was so different from the first one. It was thicker and denser and contained caramel on top! This was my favorite of the two! I was so full by the end! I definitely overdid it with too much food!

I hope you enjoyed coming with me to Boston’s historic North End! If you did, please give this video a thumbs up and leave me a comment. Also, please subscribe so you don’t miss any of my upcoming travel/food adventures!
