Revisiting an old classic. I'm a bit rusty when it comes to this game, but I have managed to complete it before. I will be doing some money grinds for equipment at some points, but I won't be doing the super grind for the special stone that grants me more magic. Which is near the end of the game anyway, so I think I can manage without, even if the final boss is a pain in the ass on that last stage.

Anyway, this is the game from the beginning to the point where I reach Begonia, the dragon village. Full disclosure, I did use rewind a bit during the Sphinx quiz. Otherwise, I woulda gotten one question wrong, which... wouldn't have hurt me too much in hindsight. Far as I remember, you get to continue even if you only get four right. Any less than that, and you are punished by a retake to just outright being killed.

I think I managed to pick up all the secrets I can feasibly get at the point I reached. The next stream will hopefully cover the rest of the game, though some of the later platform sections and secrets does get kind of hairy. Some of the secrets in this game are kinda sneaky, so while I'll make a point not to use the rewind function anymore, I'll definitely use the return spells quite vigorously still.
