What do you get if you cross the freeform ballet mecha combat of Zone of the Enders with a crazy plotline that sounds like it comes from a Command & Conquer game? You get Omega Boost, a graphical masterpiece developed by Polyphony Digital (Yes, THAT Polyphony Digital) and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 1999. And wow, does it look good. Plays well, too!

This is a 'Blind' Nibbles episode as I have never played Omega Boost before, so we're (potentially) discovering it together!

Dedicated to my partner, supportive in all the things I do and taking a retro journey alongside me, one I'm very happy to be able to share with her.

Recorded via OBS and Audacity, edited in Openshot, and played via Retroarch Beetle HW core set to authentically replicate stock PS1 settings and a rip of my physical copy of Omega Boost.
