A duo run for the current event is insanely hard even if you use Synergy characters. It requires you to focus, from turn manipulation to knowing when to use skills and knowing counters for enemies for every wave. I haven't tried a different team but I think it is mandatory to use either Golbez or OK. It even took me many tries just to finish this run.
The first wave screams breaks, which you should really be mindful off. The hardest part of this run is the first wave. OK mannikin will KILL you if you're not careful. Also, coming out of wave 1 without an hp lost is the make or break for the entire run. Stick to OK's ninja mode till mannikin OK dies. Maintain brv as much as possible and pray for godly turn order.
Second wave is the same for the first wave, but much manageable. The only really thing to watch out is Exdeath's Grandcross which is countered by having 0 brv for the entire party. Other than that, Bartz is easily manageable.
The last wave is actually the easiest. Drop Vayne's hp till he switches to magick mode then swap OK to Golbez or you can swap earlier if needed. Summon on Golbez' third turn and watch him destroy Vaan. Kill Vaan first as Vayne's much more manageable.
