I’ve moved to using a Python Script running as a Daemon to handle parsing of DNS logs and updating DNS blocklists. Performance has continued to improve, bearing in mind I’m running the server off a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ with Ubuntu 20.04 as the base OS.
